Although Gaelic football and hurling are unique to the Portuguese, G.A.A. Football is not a rare site in the Algarve especially at Barringtons. In May 2008 Barringtons was pleased to host G.A.A County Armagh Football Team.

Barringtons has its own football pitch and training ground adjoining the Club, and practice goals all for your exclusive use. We only host one club at anyone time so the training pitch will not be shared with any other team. The climate and facilities at Barringtons are ideal for both Hurling and Football. Many teams overall camp training structure has consisted of field activities, player tutorial sessions plus the major factor of team bonding.

At Barringtons this factor was possible due to the unique concept of having a training camp exclusively for themselves. This allows for a tension –free camp and greater unity.

We organise tailor-make packages to suit a teams specific requirements and budget, this can include: Daily Breakfast, lunch & dinner including water or soft drinksSpecial diets are catered for which the team coach or doctor can specify his requirements to our chefsUp to 2 sets of football kit can be laundered each day We provide a separate kit storage room and the exclusive use of two physiotherapist's roomsDrinking water is provided for all training sessionsThis package also includes an airport transfer: Faro Airport to Barringtons and return.
